An ACCOUNT holds a series of BALANCES on specific dates.  A balance can be positive (you OWN it) or negative (you OWE it).

An account can represent a bank account (e.g. Savings), a loan (e.g. Credit Card), an asset (e.g. Car Value), a liability (e.g. Money I Owe Mom) or anything else that can be represented as a series of balances.

Let's look at one of the sample accounts provided when you first start the app "Sample - Transaction Account".  Above is a screen shot of the ACCOUNT screen with this one shown.

This chart shows the change in balances over time for the account.  You can change the chart colours used and whether to show a bar chart or a timeline.

WHAT's The Difference Between "CHANGE Chart To Start at $0.00" and "CHANGE CHART TO START AT LOWEST"?

  4. NOTE: if any of your balances are $0, then this will not have any visible affect to your chart as the lowest value will be $0 anyway.
